RMA for Educators: Astronomy

August 6-7

for educators

The landscape surrounding Idaho Falls is unsurpassed in all of North America. Known for its diversity in geology, biology, and ecology, it would be difficult to find a more attractive landscape for the study of science! From the solar system to deep space objects, eastern Idaho lends itself well to the study of astronomical phenomena. In this class, we will study and observe the moon, stars, and planets and provide a wealth of resources and activities that can be adapted to any grade level. We’ll take a multidisciplinary approach as we weave English, history, sociology, math, and art throughout this scientific course.
