Museum Lighting Ceremony
December 7 at 5:30pm. Live music, hot cocoa, candy, and a visit from Santa. Space is limited, so pick up your free tickets at the Museum or at Chesbro Music Co. in Idaho Falls or Rexburg.
Olde Fashioned Christmas and Winter Festivals
December 8—30. Hundreds of nativities, Santa Claus figurines, gingerbread houses, angels, and displays on Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and other winter festivals from around the world. This event is FREE to the public thanks to the decade-long support of Chesbro Music Co., as well as the Interfaith Council and several generous donors.
OUR MAMMOTH EXPANSION
Work is scheduled to begin on a massive expansion that will nearly double our size and enhance each aspect of the Museum, from traveling and permanent exhibits to camps and classes.
Experience our current immersive traveling exhibit, "Space: A Journey to our Future" (in collaboration with NASA), and explore Eagle Rock, USA, and the flora, fauna, and other forces that have shaped our region.
CAMPS & CLASSES
The Museum of Idaho is dedicated to providing unique, hands-on educational opportunities. Our camps and classes feature interactive learning experiences for all ages.
