One Day Classes for Ages 2-4

On the first Thursday of select months, bring your toddler to explore the museum through
lots of fun games, crafts, and songs. You won't want to miss these fun programs!

 Note: An adult must accompany the child to each class.

Time:  10:00-10:45 a.m.
Cost: $10 per class for each child/adult guardian pair, or $8 for MOI members

Classes for 2014:

  • January 9 (note date change for this month, only!)-Exploring Colors--learn about a kaleidoscope of colors through fun activities
  • February 6-Polar Babies--explore baby penguins, seals, polar bears and orcas
  • March 6-Goin' to the Dogs--let's talk about man's best friend
  • April 3-Race Time--we'll make a racing machine and play fun racing games--This Class is full! Please sign up for May program
  • May 1-Insect ABCs--learn about the ABCs with creepy crawlie friends--Registration is now open.  Sign up via the link below
  • August 7-Feathered Friends--birds of a feather will stick together in this fun class
  • September 4-Jungle Jammin'--we'll have a wild time talking about the jungle and rainforests
  • October 2-GLOW: Explore Nature's Lights--using our new exhibit that opens in late September, we'll talk about why some animals can glow
  • November 6-Silly Solar System--come find out more about Mr. Sun, Mr. Moon, and the planets that make up our solar system
  • December 4-Winter Festivals--what holidays do you celebrate? We'll learn about Christmas and Hanukkah and explore the museum's holiday exhibit
