Summer Camp Motto:
"The worst day in the field is better than the best day in the classroom."
Subject Matter: The Rocky Mountain HIGH Adventure camp is
for those youth who have already participated in our
Original camp and are looking for more. This camp will take participants to new locations,
including Wolverine Canyon, Menan Buttes, and the Snake River area near Shelly. RMHA participants
will learn how to become better at observing and questioning the world around them so that they
can take the next step of improving their surroundings. This camp will show participants simple
ways that they can make a difference through projects that include building and placing bat boxes
and bird houses and/or planting trees. We will observe beaver at work (Thursday evening),
explore a cave, and learn which plants are safe and which are dangerous. The hikes and
activities for this camp will be a little more difficult than our other camps, thus the name
HIGH Adventure.
