  Meet a Scientist!
 
This is the registration page for the "Meet a Scientist" program only. The Meet a Scientist event is the first hour of the Discovery Day program at the Museum of Idaho. To learn more about the Discovery Day Workshop, please click here. If you would like to register for only the "Meet a Scientist" event, please fill out the information below. Space is limited and registration is required. Please arrive at the Museum of Idaho at least 10 minutes early to sign in. The presentation will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. Arriving late will interrupt the discussion and may result in exclusion from the event. Each month children will meet a Scientist and get the inside scoop on the theme for the month.
Each month Meet the Scientist/Discovery Day participants explore a different theme. Past themes include Bats, Early Settlers, Native American Heritage, Wildlife in the Winter, The Magic of Science, and Wonderful Weather. Upcoming themes are listed in the schedule, below.
Program Details:
Age: appropriate for the whole family
Location: Museum of Idaho,
200 N. Eastern Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID (see Map)
Dates: Typically the third Saturday of the month. See schedule on right for exact dates.
Time: Typically 9:30 am - 10:30 am Click an item in the schedule to see details.
Cost: FREE
Registration: Register early! We will accept participants on a "first-registered-first-served" basis.
Meet-a-Scientist Schedule.
"Meet-a-Scientist" will be held every month, and you can register for future months even though some details are not yet available. Please check back regularly for updates.
